The Good and Beautiful Community
Worship Center - Gathering Room
Apprentices of Jesus are not part-time do-gooders. There are myriad opportunities for us to impact the world in which we live," says the author. Yet many times we've gotten it wrong, tending to emphasize personal faith over social justice or vice versa. In these pages Jim Smith shows us how to bring spiritual formation and community engagement together, offering spiritual practices that root new, true narratives about God and the world in our souls. His insight and humility as a fellow learner with us will lead us to live in authentic ways as a good and beautiful community of Christ-followers, shining the light of the Spirit into every relationship.

An ongoing opportunity for prayer is available each week at 8:45 am in the Prayer Room located on the south side of the sanctuary. This is a time of corporate prayer and praise to worship the Lord as well as prayer for themes placed on hearts by the Holy Spirit for our church, community, and world. Pulling Weeds, Planting Seeds
Life Center Classroom #5 & #6
November Series: November 1, 8, 15, 22, 29. Growing Godly Marriages Through the Fruit of the Spirit.
Paul David Tripp once described marriage as “a long-term exercise in gardening.” Just as a thriving garden requires regular care, a healthy marriage takes intentional effort—pulling the weeds that hinder growth and planting seeds that produce lasting fruit.
This November, join Castine Church’s Marriage Ministry for an encouraging, practical series focused on cultivating godly marriages through the Fruit of the Spirit found in Galatians 5:22–23.
Together, we’ll explore two important questions: What weeds need to be pulled? What attitudes, habits, and patterns are keeping our marriages from growing? What seeds need to be planted? How can we cultivate love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, and the other qualities of Christlike character in our relationships?
We’ll consider not only where our marriages are today, but also what we want them to look like five, ten, or twenty years from now—and the daily choices that can help us get there.
A thriving marriage doesn’t happen by accident. It grows as we faithfully tend to our relationship, depend on God’s grace, and trust Him to produce lasting fruit.
Don’t miss this opportunity to invest in your marriage!
Join us this November as we learn to pull weeds, plant seeds, and cultivate marriages that honor the Lord.
? Healthy marriages grow through intentional care and God’s transforming work.
